Film Production

Your locations.
Kept in digital form.

We capture locations, sets and objects to build a digital collection for your production. Spatial material for preparation, reference and agreed downstream use.

Illustrative clips from existing material. These are not film-production client projects.

Locations

Revisit the location. Without another journey.

Give the director, cinematographer and production designer a shared spatial starting point. Review remotely and arrive better prepared for your next site visit.

  • Spatial connections and sightlines
  • Framing and movement preparation in suitable software
  • Shared reference for a distributed crew
Sets

The set comes down. The reference stays.

Capture an agreed set state before alteration or strike. Preserve the layout, details and appearance for the art department or post-production team to revisit.

  • Dated and versioned capture
  • Spatial reference for continuity review
  • Starting material for possible reconstruction or post work
Objects

One object. More ways to return to it.

Bring suitable props, details and objects into the same visual collection. We choose capture methods around overview, reference or further 3D work.

  • A visual archive of props and details
  • Appearance and placement comparison
  • VFX suitability assessed separately
EXAMPLE STRUCTURE

A collection you can return to.

An organised handover rather than loose files: name, project, capture date, version and usage notes. Start with one location and expand across projects.

What does your team receive?

  • Agreed 3D captures and a way to review them
  • A file structure with names, dates and versions
  • Downloadable files and, by agreement, the viewer engine
  • Coverage notes and known limitations

The intended use shapes the capture.

Capture for preparation and archiving differs from an environment intended for a final shot. For VFX or virtual production, we agree on target software, camera coverage and quality requirements before capture.

A 3DGS capture is not automatically an animated model, clean mesh or fully relightable environment. We validate your workflow with a pilot capture.

Define the use

Tell us about the project, deadline, team and target software.

Test a pilot capture

Agree on coverage and conditions, then review the result with your team.

Build your collection

We process and organise the agreed material, defining delivery and future additions.

Before capture

Do we need to commission the whole collection at once?

No. Start with one location, set or suitable object and add more captures later.

Can a scan appear in a final film shot?

It depends on capture, framing and workflow. We agree on VFX or virtual-production requirements beforehand and validate with a test.

Does a scan preserve actors’ movements?

Standard static 3DGS does not record an entire moving film scene. Dynamic 4D capture is a separate technical workflow.

Does the material have to be public?

No. Access, delivery, retention and usage rights are agreed per project. This introduction page is not a private client portal.
